Our Company endeavours to source its fish from sustainable well-managed fisheries and we work closely with our suppliers to ensure our seafood is traceable.

Fresh

All seafood from Suprafoods is hand selected and inspected for top quality freshness only.

Our preference is always for line-caught and we hence avoid, where possible, fish caught in nets. Our efficient semi industrial vessels are at sea during optimal times to ensure that fishes caught are at their prime.

Freshness of our catch is then preserved under ice until reaches the market. While some will get partly processed (fillet, descaling, gutting etc.…. for the island’s most popular Supermarkets, some are sold (whole fish) directly to the market and several prestigious hotels.

 

Frozen

Our frozen range of fish is effectively descaled, gutted, sliced and filleted while fresh, and fishes that will normally go on the market include Tuna, Becune and Lune D’or.
